This workshop aims to equip participants with essential leadership and management skills to effectively manage early childhood programmes in a setting. It focuses on building cohesive teams, enhancing management practices, and supporting staff development for improved performance and satisfaction. By the end of the workshop, participants will understand key leadership theories, apply effective management strategies, foster team collaboration, design staff development programmes, and promote a positive, inclusive organisational culture.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Understand Key Leadership Theories and Styles: Explain various leadership theories and identify their own leadership style.
  2. Implement Effective Management Strategies: Apply management principles to ensure the smooth operation of an ELC setting.
  3. Build and Lead Effective Teams: Utilize team-building strategies to create a cohesive and collaborative team environment.
  4. Develop Staff Training Programs: Design and implement staff development programs that enhance professional growth and improve outcomes.
  5. Foster a Positive Organisational Culture: Promote a positive and inclusive organizational culture that supports staff and children’s well-being.

Each learner will receive a Barrow Training Certificate of attendance which is valid for 2 years.

Workshops are released every Monday and Thursday over a 30-day period. You can start at a time that suits you and progress at your own pace.
